Dansville- Marion P. Curtis age 102, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon July 10, 2009, just nine days after her 102 birthday, at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris.She was born in the Town of York, on July 1, 1907, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Brown) Parrow. She was the widow of Ernest Theodore Curtis who predeceased her in 1975. She was also predeceased by her brothers Walter and Clark Parrow. Marion was a bookkeeper for the Bank of Leroy for many years. She was a former member of the Leroy Baptist Church. In her free time and earlier years she enjoyed traveling the world, quilting, bingo, crossword puzzles and crocheting.She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Charles) Taft of Dansville and Betty Jane Curtis a son, Ernest Theodore (Demaris) Curtis Jr., both of GA. Seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a great-great- granddaughter. A memorial service will be held Today Sunday at 2:00pm in the Garden of Life Room at the Livingston County Nursing Home in Mt. Morris with the Rev. James W. Stevens officiating.
