I'm so sorry for your loss. I was in Gary's DCHS class of 1967. I didn't know him well but remember him to be a real quiet, nice guy.

I will remember him always being there to listen to me, telling what to do and not to do. I loved watching him play, help, hug, watch the girls in all their events and listen to him talk about the funny sayings "Kellee did once again" and how proud he was of Emilee's report cards. and how proud he was of John as a son, father & husband.

Uncle Gary and I shared many memories.I remember going to stay the night and we would always go to breakfast the next morning. Another main memory that I have is at Christmas time we went to look at Christmas tree lights which aslo included dinner, he did not like the "12 days of Christmas" so we would always play it and then he would put in his version of it... But I will never forget when he use to come into Byrne Dairy when I worked there and get a chocolate shake and he would wait till I could make it.. it had to have hard ice cream, chocolate syrup and chocolate milk, and it had to be thick. He always told me that no one could make a shake like me. Uncle Gary was always there and always told me I am just a phone call away. I will miss him very much but will always remember all the good times we had.
