Obituary of Barbara Ann Doerr

She was born in Flint, MI on July 7, 1930, a daughter of the late William and Eva (McWethy) Browne. She was also predeceased by siblings, Frances Laux, Mary Grace Colucci and William Browne.Barbara was an active volunteer with the Noyes Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Dansville and the Dansville Lioness Club. She was a member of the Red Hat Society at her former residence in Largo, FL. She was a member of St. Michaels Church in Flint, MI. She enjoyed quilting, reading, gardening, writing notes and letters to family and friends, and attending sporting events that her grandchildren were participating in. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Doerr of Dansville, Greg (Cathy) Doerr of MI, William Doerr of, WA, Karen Carpenter of NV, Kathy Gallagher of Rochester. Six grandchildren, Ryan Doerr, Jenny Thompson, Kyle and Taylor Carpenter, Corissa Pake and Bryan Holland, eight great-grandchildren, a niece and four nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7:00pm at the Four Square Church, 49 West Ave., in Dansville.
