Rev. Carl M. VanderBurg unexpectedly on 4/21/09 at age 93. Retired United Methodist Minister. Carl went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and his dear wife of seventy-two years Mildred R. VanderBurg, who predeceased him just 22 days ago. Father of Vance (Betsy) VanderBurg of Niles, MI, Peni (Bob) Guyer of Rochester. Grandfather of Carl Barton (Gwendolyn) VanderBurg, Kirsten (David) Hall and Zachary (Julie) Guyer. Great-grandfather of Nancy Schneider, Abigail Hall and Carlin VanderBurg, and another on the way. Calling Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00pm in the Sparta Center United Methodist Church. Interment with will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Springwater.Contributions may be made to the Sparta Center United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. c/o 8555 Reeds Corners Rd., Dansville, NY 14437.
