Obituary of Ruth E. McIntyre

She was born in Dansville on February 9, 1918, a daughter of the late LaVerne and Mollie (Kramer) Applin. On January 20, 1939, she was married to Joseph McIntyre, who predeceased her on May 8, 1987. She was also predeceased by her siblings Harold, Robert, and Lillian Applin.Ruth was a faithful longtime member of the Dansville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bowling and playing golf in the Brae Burn Ladies' Golf League. She volunteered in the "Spice Box" gift shop at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. She also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens at her home built by her loving husband. Ruth was dedicated to her family as a devoted and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Joseph (Elizabeth) McIntyre, Terry (Julie) McIntyre, and Patricia (Mark) Pascucci, all of Rochester; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. in Dansville where services will be held at the completion of calling hours, followed by interment at Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
