Dansville- Winifred I. "Winnie" Carlini 90, formerly of Dansville, passed away early Saturday morning January 24, 2009, at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, where she had been a resident for the past year. She was born in Brockway, PA on August 24, 1918, a daughter of the late Asa and Jessie (Miller) Jones. On February 10, 1941, she was married to Raymond E. Carlini, who predeceased her on January 15, 1997. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Thomas and Florence Jones. Winnie was a member of the Dansville United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Deborah Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Dansville. She was a retail clerk at the former Outdoor Store in Dansville and had worked in the cafeteria at Dansville Central School. She is survived by two sons, Donald (Susan) Carlini and Robert (Norma) Carlini both of Florida. Three grandchildren Chad, Mike and Heather Carlini, several nieces and nephews. Services and calling hours will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. Contributions to the Dansville United Methodist Church, 5 Chestnut Ave., Dansville, NY 14437.
