Dansville/Apalachin, NY - Jon S Ferree, age 67, passed away suddenly Saturday December 14, 2024, at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City. He was born in Lockport, NY on March 8, 1957, a son of the late John Ferree and Karen Anderson Fahs. He was also predeceased by a sister, Valerie Hoover. On June 1, 1985, he was married to Terry (Tanner) Ferree who survives. Jon was proud to be a pharmacist at various retail pharmacies in Dansville, NY for 30 years. He was a true professional with his primary concern always being the needs of the customers he served. After relocating to the Binghamton area to be closer to his daughter's family he worked at Pharmscript in Vestal. In his off hours Jon's primary focus was his family. He enjoyed planning activities and trips that created many special memories over the years. When not spending time with his family Jon spent hours working on his various vehicles including trucks, a motorcycle, and a dirt bike. Surviving in addition to his wife Terry are his daughter Meg (Zach) Burczynski, his granddaughter Emily Burczynski, a sister Alison Nam, a brother Andrew (Lisa) Ferree and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday December 18, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc, 271 Main St Dansville, NY. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Marshmallow Madie Fund, Grandview Canine Care, 7927 Straight Rd., Springwater, NY 14560.
