Helen (Hughes) DeMayo
Born in Sparta NY July 12, 1929. Helen passed away peacefully in the care of Serenity House of Victor on Sunday December 1, 2024.
Helen was married to her late husband Benjamin DeMayo for 64 years who passed away in January 2011. She is survived by her sons Ben (Sherry & Benjamin) DeMayo of Macedon NY, David DeMayo (Cindy Allen) of Honeoye Falls NY, Sisters Ruth Jones, Hilda Carney and many dear Nieces and Nephews.
Helen loved being a Mother to her two sons and surrounding family. She was always known for her generous friendly nature and welcoming smile. Helen was always young at heart and full of joy. She loved working in her gardens at home amongst the flowers and watching the birds visit her many feeders and baths. In her younger years she and her husband Benjamin spent time fishing some of their favorite lakes in Canada. She was known for reeling in some pretty big fish!
