Sparta- Cindy L. Bendzus age 69, passed away Monday morning December 2, 2024, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.

She was born in Dansville on July 6, 1955, a daughter of the late Charles Clayton and the late Shirley Pfuntner Clayton (Melvin) Carnell. She was also predeceased by a granddaughter Kayonna Bendzus. On February 17, 1973, she was married to Greg S. Bendzus Sr., who survives.

She loved reading Stephen King novels, watching the food Network, Hallmark Christmas movies, hummingbirds, butterflies, her dogs and family.

Surviving in addition to her husband Gregg, are a daughter Karen Bendzus, a son Gregg Bendzus Jr., grandchildren, Karina Bendzus, Jozlynn Fisher, great grandchildren, Kayleeonna Bendzus, Severous McCoy, and Aurora Belisle. Siblings Betty Annis-Roberts (Paul), Sherry (Gene) Alveshire, William (Billy) Clayton, Kevin (Vicky) Clayton, and Keith (Cindy) Clayton, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life Friday December 13 at 2:00 pm at Sparta Fire Hall. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. Online memorials may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
