Obituary of Bruce Carl Fronk

Sparta- Bruce Carl Fronk age 77, passed away late Thursday morning November 21, 2024, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville after complications due to ongoing health conditions. He was born in Dansville on October 18, 1947, a son of the late Carl and Elizabeth (Sweet) Fronk. He was also predeceased by a son Sam in 2023. Bruce was a lifelong resident of his family farm in Sparta, where he took great pride in raising beef cattle. He was also a foreman mechanic at American Rock Salt in Retsof for many years. He was hardworking, generous and welcoming to all. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and gardening. For many years he enjoyed maintaining his shop and made many meals for the family and friends who came to hunt on the property. He was also a fan of watching the Buffalo Bills and his grandson's college football games. Throughout the years, Bruce loved celebrating holidays, and always made sure that visiting children were greeted with sweet treats. In his later years, he spent much of his time telling stories, and cracking jokes with all who visited him. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, the Joanne (Stone) Fronk, two daughters Mary (Terry) Fronk, Cassie (Justin) Chapman, son Joe (Amanda) Fronk, daughter in laws Carol Fronk and Jody Fronk, grandchildren Davondre, Morgan, Carter, Arabella, Cyrus, Connor, Addison, and Jerome, three brothers, Bill (Nancy) Fronk, Richard and Timothy Fronk, two sisters Nina Hurlbut and Lizzie Kessler, brother in laws Ray (Lee) Stone, David (Debbie) Stone and sister in law Janice (Marty) Clayson, and many nieces and nephews.
