We first met Linda some 35 years ago through our mutual love of theater. Linda was the srage manager for many stage productions in Dansville and surrounding towns. Linda's commitment to excellence contributed, in no small way, to the success of all those in front of the curtain. Her selfless efforts combined with a steady, calm and humorous attitude, kept everyone focused and working together. We are thankful for the privilege of having known her and working with her on many productions. We like to think that Linda is standing center stage, in a soft spotlight, taking a deserved bow for a life well lived. Stan and Teonna Janczak

I first met Linda in 2000 when I began as a reading teacher at Dansville Primary School where Linda taught first grade. Linda loved making things, and spent many hours at my home learning to weave baskets. Linda later took up scrapbooking and card making and was always busy creating something to give to others. Linda adored her brother and his family, and being "cat mom" Linda, may you always be happy and may you rest in peace. Sending heartfelt condolences to your family.

My wife Cris and I are very saddened to learn of Linda's passing. We knew her in many different capacities. First of all Linda was our client with all her cats, but mostly we will remember her because we worked together on many different theatrical productions in Dansville, Nunda, and Geneseo. She was a lovely caring person who will be missed by many people. She had a great laugh. We are very very sad and our condolences go out to her family. Most sincerely, Cris and Dr. Gene Scherline

Linda was a kind caring lady who was there to take care of one of my mom’s cats, “Squeakers - AKA Sunny” while she was in a nursing home for an extended period of time. I’m so glad Sunny gave her such joy in her life as he did my mom. Thanks for being there for him. You will be missed. Vicky Spencer

She lived next to my grandparents for her last years. Would love catching up with her when I was there. She would pull out some of the old work I did in first grade. She had different relics from many of her students. What a display that would be to have at her funeral. She loved teaching and made an impact on so many children in Dansville. She had both my sister and I.

Linda taught my 2 eldest children in kindergarten and my 3rd in 3rd grade. She was the sweetest and kindest teacher and person anyone could know. I will miss her sense of humor and wish her rest in peace.
