Ossian- Helen M. Bertalon age 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Saturday morning October 5, 2024, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
She was born in Hornell on November 2, 1950, a daughter of the late Harry and Katherine (Kelly) Jones. She was married to the love of her life Raymond Bertalon on June 20, 1970. Ray predeceased her on May 27, 2021.
Helen was a devoted Christian and member of the Fresh Start Church in Hornell. She was a waitress at the Sunrise Family Restaurant in Dansville for many years.
She is survived a son Craig Bertalon and a daughter Tina (Paul) Mahus; two sisters Sondra Lee McTarnaghan, and Sharon Ann (Don) Murphy, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
Friends may call Friday 10/11 from 4 to 7 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Funeral Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at the Fresh Start Church, 34 Maple Street Hornell NY. Online memorials may be at HindleFuneralHome.com.
