Dansville – "Drew" James Edward Goodell age 71, passed away Tuesday afternoon August 27, 2024, at Noyes Memorial Hospital following a cardiac event.

He was born in Dansville on July 8, 1953, a son of the late Edward, and Florence "Flossie" (Rauber) Goodell. On April 23, 1983, he was married to Debra (Guy) Goodell who survives.

Drew was an avid golfer and music enthusiast, finding joy with his friends on the Golf Course. He was a proud member of the Union Hose, Dansville Moose Lodge, and Sons of the American Legion. He worked as an Electrician for the State University of NY at Geneseo and was most recently the maintenance man for the Dansville Public Library.

In addition to his loving wife Deb, he is survived by their son, Andrew (Deidra) Goodell, a sister Susan (Gary) Eye, his father and mother in-law, Robert and Aletha Guy, many nieces, nephews, cousins, Deb's siblings, spouses and families

Friends may call on Sunday September 1, 2024, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, NY 14437.
