He was born June 19,1938. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Marjorie Schirmer and a brother Richard.
He is survived by his wife Saundra and her children, Mark and SherryLynn and his children, Laurie. Valerie, Gregory and Wendy.
He is also survived by his sister, Ann Mahus, and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren,
