Dansville- Nancy Jean Cimino, 66, passed away on March 7, 2024, from an unexpected heart attack. Even though a failing heart took her away from this world, her loving heart left a beacon of light for all who knew her.
Nancy started her career right in town at Tops, quickly elevating to department manager. She ultimately retired from the Livingston County Dept of Social Services after a long and successful 25-year career positively impacting many lives along the way.
Nancy is survived by her sisters, Marianne Cimino and Diane Kelleher and her brothers, Patrick Cimino and Paul Cimino. Predeceased were her father Francis Cimino, her mother Mary Cimino and her brother F. Michael Cimino. She was a proud aunt to Frank Kelleher, Leah Kelleher, Chris Cimino, Anthony Cimino, Kara Cimino, Kaylee Cimino, Connor Cimino and Deegan Cimino, Sebastian Perez and Lourdes Perez. Predeceased was her nephew, Matthew Cimino.
Her big smile and infectious laugh are what people will remember most. She will be missed in Dansville, NY, her hometown for many years.
A shared meal with close relatives will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024, in Monroe, NY to celebrate her birthday and her life. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
