Obituary of Robert James Teeter Jr.

Dansville- Robert James Teeter Jr. age 74 passed away peacefully on Thursday May 2, 2024, with his children by his side at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born in Dansville on October 18, 1949, a son of the late Robert E. Teeter Sr. and Lucinda (Waggoner) Teeter. He was also predeceased by sisters, LuAnn and Linda, a brother, Richard G. Teeter. Robert was a graduate of Dansville Central School class of 1969. He was a welder, painter, and crane operator at the former Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation in Dansville. He loved spending time farming and using his John Deere Tractor. He was also an avid deer hunter; he loved spending time with his family and watching Gun Smoke. For years he held the record whitetail deer in Livingston County. Surviving Bob are his children, Jennifer Coombs, Heather Teeter, a grandson, Dominick Coombs, sisters, Wanda (Scott) Osborne, and Judy (Clyde) Coolbaugh, his former wife and mother of their children Rita (Daniel) Bovee, his longtime girlfriend Sandy Allwood, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call 12pm to 2pm on Thursday June 20, 2024, with a Memorial Service to follow calling hours at the Sparta Center Church, 8455 Sparta Center Road Dansville, NY 14437. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Please bring a dish to pass for the picnic following the graveside service at the church.
