James E. Sawdey, 58 of Salado, TX, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, April 19, 2024 after being stricken at home.
He was born March 29, 1966 in Dansville, NY a son of the late Robert Sawdey Sr and the late Emma (Hackett) Sawdey.
Jim was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, A true America Patriot till the end. Jim loved dogs, music, and his Kia Stinger GT2. Biggest fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and NY Yankees.
He leaves behind his spouse Laura, of Salado, TX, his cherished canines Bo, Rusty, and Juno. Siblings Robert Sawdey Jr., of Leicester and Pamela Sawdey of Dansville. Nephews Brett (Summer Bliss) Sawdey of Hornell and Blake Sawdey of Dansville. Special friend Theresa of Georgia; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
The family will honor his memory with a quiet farewell and kindly request no service be held. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. Online memorials may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all that knew, and loved him.
