Rochester- Janice “Jazzy Jan” Marlene Kiefer, age 77, passed away February 23, 2024, at strong memorial hospital.
She was born in Dansville, a daughter of the late Glenn and Ethel (Harvey) Kiefer. She was also predeceased by her brother Larry Kiefer.
Jan was a 1964 graduate of Dansville Central School; she went on to earn her associate degree. She worked as a graphic artist for the Xerox Corporation in Rochester for many years. In her free time Jan loved to draw, and she loved music. Her claim to fame was attending the original Woodstock Festival in Bethel, NY in 1969.
She is survived by her sister Lois Sciotti, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 10:30am to 11:00am on Saturday March 23, 2024 at the South Dansville United Methodist Church 9667 County Rd 46 Arkport, NY 14807, where a Memorial Service will follow at 11:00am Interment in Rogersville Forrest Lawn Cemetery, South Dansville.
