Dansville- Mary K. Drum age 69, went into the Arms of Jesus late Thursday afternoon November 30, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Dansville on August 8, 1954, a daughter of the late Edwin and Althea (Barrett) Lauffer III. She was also predeceased by a brother Christopher Lauffer and a sister in-law Marsha (Roger) Krueger. On April 28, 1984, she was married to Mark Drum who survives.

Mary had worked at Suny Geneseo as a Scheduling Secretary for several years. She was a graduate of the Jamestown Business College. Mary was a devoted Christian and Communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. She attended the Your Centers program in Dansville, which she enjoyed tremendously. She had also volunteered at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville and enjoyed photography.

She is survived by her husband Mark, a daughter Sharon (Brian Edwards) Drum, grandchildren, Dakota Yeoman and Skylee Drum-Edwards, sisters Linda Curren and Suzanne Witters, brother John (Donna Goho) Lauffer sister's in-law Linda Lauffer and Marlene (Joel) Martin, brothers in law James (Valerie) Drum and Charlie (Lynda) Drum and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville, where services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
