Sparta- Debbara "Deb" Applin-Burr age 74, passed away Sunday morning November 19, 2023, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born in Wayland on September 30, 1949, a daughter of the late Earl and Onnolee (Henchen) Tuttle. She was also predeceased by nephew Matthew Tuttle, a daughter Dawn Burr and a granddaughter Katie Burr. Deb was the former owner of the Suntan Studio and Wesco Pool and Garden of Dansville. She and her husband Ken also owned and operated East Hill Trading Company in Scottsburg. She was a member with the NYS Festival of Balloons Committee for many years, a former member of the Wayland United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed Nascar, collecting gargoyles and rescuing and raising dogs. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Burr, a son Brian (Phyllis) Applin and their children, Kirstyn (Dustin) Perry, Katelyn Applin and Bryce Applin, Ken's children Ricki (Pat) Wensel, Jackie (Jeff) Drain and Brian (Michelle) Burr, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren. brother, Ray (Linda) Tuttle of Mims, FL. sister Lorrayn (Elvin) Button of Wayland, NY, brother Douglas (Laura) Henchen of Virginia Beach, VA, brother in-law Tom (Sharon) Burr, many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. A celebration of Life will be held at Par-Keys in Scottsburg on Saturday December 9 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville.
