Sparta- Rea Alberta Knudsen age 93, passed away at home Saturday afternoon October 7, 2023.

She was born in Springwater on June 8, 1930, a daughter of the late Charles and Fannie (Allen) Thomas. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Knudsen, a son Rodney, a daughter in-law Patricia and grandchildren, Jeffrey, Robert Jr., and Michelle.

Rea enjoyed reading, puzzle books, camping, canning, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Genevieve) Knudsen, Rick Knudsen, Rita Knudsen, Deborah Knudsen, Roger (Debra) Knudsen, Marilyn (Claude) Wray Sharon (Nelson) Dibble, Albert Knudsen Jr., and Timothy Knudsen; brothers, Gordon (Carolyn) and Melvin (Caroline) Thomas, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, and furry friends Peanut, Rotti and Mitsi.

A service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
