Dansville- Joanne Nolan Smith age 76, passed away Tuesday morning September 12, 2023, at the Vincent House in Wayland.
She was born in North Hornell on January 24, 1947, a daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Patrick) Nolan. She was also predeceased by her brother James Nolan and a niece Michelle Fairbrother.
Joanne was an LPN at Morgan Estates. In her free time, she enjoyed family, crocheting and lottery scratch offs.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine (Ron) Miller, Tracy (Brett) Sterner, two sons, Robert (Dariia) Smith and James (Tammy) Smith, and their father James Smith, grandchildren, Danielle (Matt) Daniels, Cody (Danielle) Smith, Ian Smith, Christopher Miller, Kaleigh Miller, Samantha (Adam) Sirianni, Jacob and Mason Sterner, great grandchildren, Daemen and Serena Miller, Lilith Smith, Brooklyn, Charlotte and Logan Daniels, and Evelyn Sirianni.
Friends may call Thursday September 14, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, where services will be held at 1:00 pm following calling hours. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Vincent House 310 Second Ave, Wayland, NY 14572
