Dansville- Sandra Lee "Sandy" Kershner age 82, passed away late Friday evening September 8, 2023, at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris following a lengthy illness. She was born in Nunda on December 8, 1940, a daughter of the late Harold and Arlene (Davis) Johnson. She was predeceased by a son Christopher Kershner, and two brothers Harold and Kenneth Johnson. Sandy was the office manager for medical billing at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. She was a communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. She was an active member of the Daniel Goho Post # 87 Ladies Auxiliary, the Noyes Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is survived by two sons William (Joanne) Kershner and Andrew (Teresa) Kershner, stepchildren, Jackie Spencer and Jeff Spencer, siblings, Linda (Jim) Vogel, Sherry Quinones, Kenneth (Julie) Johnson and Richard Padraza. Six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday Sept. 16, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. A memorial celebration will be held at 1:00 pm at the Union Hose Clubrooms following calling hours at 1:00 pm Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
