Dansville - Rebecca L. "Becky" Palmer (Cooper), age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and sister Jodi, early Monday afternoon August 14, 2023, at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia.

She was born in Dansville on January 11, 1947, a daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Nice) Cooper. She was also predeceased by her husband Richard "Larry" Palmer on August 31, 1996.

Becky was a hardworking mother, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed traveling, music and dancing, caring for her cherished pets, and flowers, especially lilacs and yellow roses. Becky worked as a therapy aid for the Dogwood Day Treatment Center until her retirement and was a member of the Dansville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Christine Lynn(Joe) Angora, Charles Scott Henchen, and Matthew Noel (Samantha) Henchen; grandchildren, Linzee Bree Henchen, Briaunna Leigh Henchen, Amber Nicole Henchen, Charles Braden Henchen, Taylor Nicole Angora, Joseph Christopher Angora, Brooke Elizabeth Angora, Justin Parker Angora, Tanner Charles Henchen, Mason James Henchen, and Naomi Grace Myers; siblings, Suzanne (Ray) Deslandes, Dennis (Nancy) Cooper, Jodi (Roger) Sutton and Joanne (Scott) Babcock, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday August 18th from 4 to 7 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. A memorial service will be held on August 19th 11am at the Dansville United Methodist Church. Interment will be next to Larry in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
