Dansville- Martin E. "Marty" Schledorn age 67 passed away Friday afternoon August 4, 2023, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness.

He was born in Dansville on October 6, 1955, a son of Leo and Doris (Schutz) Schledorn. He was predeceased by his father Leo and brother Richard.

Marty was a former welder at Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Dansville. He was currently employed at LMC in the shipping department. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, a member of the SAL at the Daniel Goho Post #87 of the American Legion and the Frank J. Casbolt # 6780 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Power's Inn Club all of Dansville. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, trying to hunt and enjoying a cold Coors Light.

He is survived by four children, Angie Henchen of Dansville, Marty Ann Schledorn of Hornell, Bill (Brandy Holly) Schledorn and Katie Schledorn all of Dansville; his mother Doris Schledorn, three sisters, Donna (Mark Hainey) Schneble, Betty (Tim) Driesbach and Barb (Cal) Huffman; three brothers, Peter, Thomas, and Joseph (Sally) Schledorn; nine grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial celebration will be held at the Dansville Moose Club on Wednesday beginning at 4:00 pm. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
