Dansville- Marcia R. Hastings age 85, passed away early Wednesday morning July 19, 2023, at the Avon Nursing Home.

She was born in Springfield MA on March 5, 1938. A daughter of the late William R. and Eva (Barnfather) Lombard. On May 4, 1974, she was married to William Hastings Jr., who predeceased her on April 7, 2009. She was also predeceased by her stepson William Hastings III, her sisters, Sue Lombard, Trudy, her brothers, William David, and Robert Bruce Lombard.

Marcia was a member of the Dansville Free Methodist Church. She was a former maternity nurse at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Heidi (Guy) Bennett of Wayland, a son, Lt. Col. Kurt (Kumiko) Hastings of Virginia; a sister, Rebecca Lombard, seven grandchildren; ten great-grand-children; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Dansville Free Methodist Church on Saturday, September 9th 11:00am. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
