She was born in Naples on November 25, 1908, a daughter of the late Melvin and Anna Donley. She was the widow of William Clyde Selbig and Frederick Lieb. She was also predeceased by a daughter Joyce McDowell and siblings Ralph, LaVergne, Dewey, Walter, Carl, Lyle Donley and Mildred Fleishman.
Cora worked in the bindery and assembly area at the former F.A. Owen Publishing Company in Dansville, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Highway Tabernacle of Dansville for over 75 years. She enjoyed going to church, playing the organ, bible study and praying.
She is survived by her son, Clyde (Pat) Selbig of Dansville, two daughters, Aliene LaMonica of Dansville and Beatrice Avery of Utah. Sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and special friends Ernest and Ramona Shute.
Friends may call Thursday from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, where services will be held at the completion of calling hours with the Rev. Ken Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
