Obituary of Jennifer Sue Tomaschow

Dansville- Jennifer Sue Tomaschow age 55, passed away June 28, 2023, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, following a five and a half year battle with ALS. She was born in San Bernardino CA, on July 11, 1967, a daughter of the late Timothy and Susan (Wester) Bradley, she was also predeceased by siblings, Ray Bradley, and Brandon Plake. On October 7, 1989, she was married to Alfred Tomaschow who survives. Jennifer was a very educated and successful businesswoman. She ran four separate businesses with her family here on Main Street, The Coffee Cup, Sugar Bowl, Café Tazza, and the soon to open Stony Brook Inn. She was an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the Air Force serving four years. She held some prestigious positions as a Tax Accountant, Former Systems Accountant for the Department of Defense, she was a professor at the University of Maryland, a Finance Director at the United States Institute of Peace. In addition to her husband of 33 years Alfred, she is survived by her children, Julia, Samuel, and Nathaniel Tomaschow, her siblings, Tim (April) Bradley, Morry, Charles (Rose Lynn) and Amanda Plake, Deborah Bradley, Cynthia (Jason) Oliver, Bonnie (Scott) Blair, several nieces' nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on Thursday July 6th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, NY. Following calling hours Interment with Full Military Honors, in Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please memorial donations may be made the ALS Foundation.
