Dansville- Francis B. Gill age 95, passed away early Friday morning June 30, 2023, at the former Hornell Gardens Nursing Home in Hornell.

He was born in York, NY on August 13, 1927, a son of the late Joseph and Florence (Benton) Gill. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Helen, Mary, Beatrice and Dorothy, William, Raymond and Charles Gill.

Francis was a serviceman at Rochester Railway Signal for many years. He attended the Dansville Free Methodist Church and was recently attending the Oakland Wesleyan Church in Nunda.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews and his dear friends Douglas (Deb) Rodgers.

Friends may call Monday July 3 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Oakland Wesleyan Church, where services will follow calling hours. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. Ref. Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
