West Sparta- Elaine K. Comer age 80, passed away late Wednesday evening February 1, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

She was born in the Town of West Sparta on September 27, 1942, a daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Walker) Kysor. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Cordelia Hartman, Harold, Duane, Zane and Milan "Ben" Sr. Kysor. On March 3, 1962, she was married to Charles Comer Sr. who survives.

Elaine was a graduate of Alfred State College School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for Craig Colony in Sonyea, NY and eventually retiring from Finger Lakes DDSO after 36years.

Surviving in addition to her husband Charles are two daughters Teresa (Tracey) Arend and Candice Comer (Roger Closinski), two sons, Charles Jr and George (Patty) Comer, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her loving dog and "good boy" O'Reilly. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Bonnie (Chuck) Comer.
