Dansville- Betty W. Zangerle age 96, passed away early Saturday evening January 7, 2023, at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia where she had been a resident for a short time. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana on December 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Claude and Geneva (Comer) Webb. On August 23, 1947, she was married to John Zangerle, who predeceased her on April 11, 2016. She was also predeceased by siblings, Barbara Barraco and Bob Webb. Betty was a Communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church while her and John lived in Dansville. She was a former secretary at the Kemps Agency in Nunda. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Mary) Zangerle of Medina, Michael (Linda) Zangerle of Dalton, Gail Kincaid of South Carolina, and Jane (Doug) White of Florida. Siblings, Brenda Conlon and Blayne (Phyllis) Webb, ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00am. Interment will be next to John in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mt. Morris. Online remembrances may be left at HindlefuneralHome.com.
