Obituary of Kenneth Gordon Knights

Dansville- Kenneth Gordon Knights age 80, passed away early Wednesday December 7th, 2022 at Noyes Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born in Dansville, on May 4, 1942, a son of the late Warren and Helen (Cowley) Knights. He was also predeceased by his twin children, Thomas and Karen Knights, a sister Mary Montemarano, a brother Ralph Knights. Ken was a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1130, a life member of the Fearless Hook and Ladder Company, and the Powers Inn club. He was a welder at Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Dansville. He enjoyed gambling, drinking whiskey, mowing lawns, camping at Skybrook, and spending time with his family. Ken is survived by his companion Elena Herkimer, children, Marie Strauss, Daniel Knights, Kathy (Larry) Gilbert, a sister Linda Munn, a brother Gary (Ann) Knights, grandchildren, John Knights, Ashley (Nick) Shute, Dylan Knights (Ashley Staples), Elizabeth Knights, Amanda Gruber, Alyssa (Tanner) Dettman, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. At the request of Ken a celebration of life will be held at the Dansville Moose Club on Saturday December 17, at 2:00 pm.
