Dansville- Rick L. Perry, age 69 passed away late Thursday evening December 1, 2022, at the Wellsville Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Dansville, on October 17, 1953, a son of Kenneth and Barbara (Dawley) Perry. He was predeceased his mother Barbara Perry and stepmother Mary Lou Perry.

Rick worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Mechanic and Licensed Crane Operator for LC Whitford Company of Wellsville. He was active with the Union Hose Company of the Dansville Fire Department where he served as a past President and Chief. He was a former member of the Bulldogs Drill Team. Rick also volunteered for the Dansville Ambulance Company. He enjoyed drag racing, cooking and music. He was a rescue dog dad to three German Shepherds, Jack, Jill, and Shadow which he adored.

Rick is survived by his siblings Mike (Cindy) Perry, Lisa (Pat) Murray, Timothy Perry, his daughters Lori (Marshall) McCoy, Tracy Perry, three grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
