Scottsville- Betty Ann Hoerner age 79, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning November 30, 2022, in the ER at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after being stricken at home.

She was born in Dansville on September 14, 1943, a daughter of the late Francis and Harriett Burdick Reniff. She was also predeceased by a son Frank Hoerner in 1985.

Betty was formerly employed at the FA Owen Publishing Company and as a secretary at the Ellis B. Hyde Elementary School. In her free time, she enjoyed her Dansville friends and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Darla (Gary) Redding of Dansville, a son Daniel (Courtney Ayers) Hoerner of Churchville, a brother Donald (Jackie) Reniff of West Sparta, grandchildren Jamie and Jake Redding; Alex, Ashton, Austen, and Avery Hoerner; and several nieces and nephews.
