Obituary of Matthew Garth Palmer

Dansville- Matthew Garth Palmer age 56, passed away early Friday morning November 4, 2022 in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. He was born in Dansville, September 4, 1966, the son of Robert "Butch" and Marcia (Canfield) Palmer. He was predeceased by his father in 2006. Matt was a 1984 graduate of Dansville Central School. He went on to Alfred Tech and received his Engineering Degree. He worked as an Engineer at Kodak and Delphi in Rochester. Matt was an adventurer and traveled the world and fulfilled his need to experience everything that life had to offer him. He was a mountain bike enthusiast competing in races across the country and enjoyed his "me time" mountain bike rides everyday all over Carolina Beach. Loved the outdoors and being in sync with nature. Woodworking and carpentry were his gifted skills along with drawing and artistic painting talents. He was a friend to many and spread love and happiness to all that he met. He moved to North Carolina ten years ago and worked as a property maintenance manager. He is survived by his mother Marcia Palmer of Dansville, his sister Becky Palmer (Jeremy Abbey), his niece Nichole and his nephew Austin, also of Dansville. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends from Dansville and his friends in North Carolina. Especially Nicole & Don Greeson and Bob & Mary Smith. At Matt's request there will be no services. Ref.
