Dansville/Dillion SC- Barbara Jean Gregory age 97, passed away peacefully Monday September 26, 2022, at her son’s home in Dillion South Carolina after a brief illness. She was born in Livonia, on May 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Walter and Edith (Coykendall) Hill. On July 10, 1948, she was married to Hugh McNair Gregory who predeceased her in 2005. Barbara was a long-time member of the Dansville Presbyterian Church. She and her husband resided for years in West Sparta w here she was a schoolteacher at Dansville Central School District. She had a distinct love for children, and in her retirement, years enjoyed reading. She is survived by her sons, David (Toni) and Steven (Rosario) Gregory, her grandchildren, Erin (Eric) Decker, Mack Gregory, Mikalah (Joseph) Snyder, and Zack Robinson, a great-grandaughter Violet Decker. Friends may call on Saturday October 8, 2022, from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Dansville Presbyterian Church 3 School St. A Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am, Private burial in Union Cemetery, Livonia, NY.
