Dansville- David (Dave) Harold, 57 passed away peacefully early Monday morning September 12, 2022, at Strong Memorial/ Wilmont Cancer Center after a short battle with Leukemia. He was predeceased by his Sister Sue Etta Justice, brothers Bill Relyea, Gary, and Gerald Humphrey his Uncles Clair, Charles and Raymond Holbrook, Rodney Harold, aunts Jessie Prevorse, Fran, Shirley Holbrook, and Mae Taylor. David had a heart as big as he was, always willing to help especially financially when he could even when he didn't have it to spare. Always sharing his big laugh, humor, joking sarcasm and love for all. He loved NASCAR, the Yankees and at a young age began collecting baseball cards and did so his entire life. Dave's biggest joy was living life and bringing laughter and being with friends and family. He is survived by his brothers, Robin Humphrey, James Humphrey (Mary) and Wayne Humphrey, several cousins, nieces, and nephews, especially his nephew Grayson who David referred to as "my little buddy." David had many, many friends both locally and around the country, coast to coast that he met, as he was a professional truck driver, a 32-year career that he was proud of, as he was grateful to follow in his dads' footsteps. The biggest achievement and proudest moment was when he changed his last name from Humphrey to Harold, that of his birth dad.
