West Sparta- Linda E. Zirgulis age 73, passed away peacefully at home Thursday afternoon July 14, 2022. She was born in Rochester on June 13, 1949, a daughter of the late Henry and Ella (Hoeland) Hoecker. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Betty Ann O'Donnell and Lucy Hoecker. On July 1, 1967, she was married to Edward T. Zirgulis, who survives. Linda a court clerk for the Towns of West Sparta and Groveland for several years. She was an active volunteer at the former Kings Daughters Home, Livingston County Hospice, Meals on Wheels, Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse, the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations. She enjoyed knitting and working in her flower gardens. Surviving in addition to her husband Edward, are her children, Crista and Edward Zirgulis; a sister Helga Gallagher and a brother Henry Hoecker, several nieces' nephews, and her beloved dog Anna Mae. Linda requested that there be no services. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville. Online memorials may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
