Ossian- Jesse H. Weidman, age 69, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, July 12, 2022, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
He was born in Dansville on April 16, 1953, a son of the late George and Mary (DePuy) Weidman.
Jesse was a gentleman farmer and former Project Engineer for Foster Wheeler and Phillips Lighting. He loved working and hunting on the family farm and took great pleasure in repairing his tractors and machinery.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rapchick, two daughters Capt. Emily White of Japan and Dr. Abigail Rapchick-Weidman of Oregon, two adopted sons, Matthew (Vickie) and David (Randa) Weidman of Dansville, nieces Taylor Jauregui (Julio) of Texas and Debra Carucci of New York, and siblings, Jane Weidman (Minot Davis) of Rhode Island, Catherine Weidman of Florida, and Frank Weidman of Texas.
A gathering of remembrance for Jesse will be held at the lower club of the Dansville Fish and Game Club on Wednesday July 20, from 4 to 7pm.
