To the family of Edna Freeman. Such a sweet lady. She was my Mom's roommate at CNR when my Mom first entered the facility and was such a kind soul. While my Mom is still there I would see Edna everyday that I would visit with my Mom. She would
always wave and would have her lovely hat and her beautiful necklaces and scarves on while holding
her beloved Mary Ann. My condolences go out to the entire family. Bless you Edna and may you Rest in
Peace.

Edna Mae Smith Freeman.... you almost made it! You said you would be 100!! You were such a sassy lady, always with your necklaces and rings. Oh how I loved your spunk. To her family, I am sorry for your loss. It was my pleasure to care for Edna while I worked at the CNR in activities. Thank you for sharing her with me. She was gem. May she now Rest In Peace and may your memories carry you through this difficult time.

To the Freeman Boys and Family,
Just the other day I was thinking of your mom. I am going to the Dogwood Festival and was thinking I might stop by Mt. Morris and say hello to Edna. I was thinking that she must be nearing 100 yrs of age. Every now and then I would stop to say hello to Edna, Irene, the Vogels and others from St. Paul's. I well remember your dad, your grandmother, Jessie. and of course Louise and Bob. The Smith Sisters brought many a smile to my face. Your mom was always a help in the School office as well as at church (only as effective as the people who attend and share their talents). That the Loving Lord blessed you boys with wonderful parents is a blessing and gift! Do not forget the church family and faith that your parents gifted to you. A couple of Bible readings that were used at my mothers graveside ceremony are these: Isaiah 25:8 and John 5:28. God loves the Freeman Families. Remember the Goodness that is St. Paul's and Dansville.
