Conesus- John Anthony Marino age 76, passed away Sunday afternoon April 24, 2022, at Noyes Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born in Geneva, NY on November 25, 1945, a son of the late Henry and Rose (Rollo) Marino. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Marino. In 1972 he was married to the former Margaret Jensen who survives. John Graduated from DeSales High School in Geneva in 1964. He then Enlisted in the US Navy from 1964-1968 proudly serving as an electronics technician third class. After his service john attended RIT where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. He went on to Design Cameras for Eastman Kodak where he worked for over 37 years. John loved fishing, telling stories, and spending time with his friends and family. John took his family all over exploring new campgrounds and historical sites. Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 49 years Margaret, are his children, Michael (Jenna), Matthew (Amanda) and Mark Marino, his grandchildren, Emma Calkins, Giulianna, Isla, Charlie, and Dominic Marino, many nieces, and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial followed by Full Military Honors will be celebrated on Friday April 29th 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church of Honeoye. A Celebration of life will be held on Friday April 29th 4:00pm at the Conesus Golf Course. Private interment will be on Saturday in St. Theresa cemetery in Stanly NY. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at: HindleFuneralHome.com.
