Richard "Dick" L. White age 81, passed away on February 4th, 2022 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. He was born in the Town of West Sparta on June 8, 1940, a son of the late Raymond and Esther (Chesbro) White. He was also predeceased by a brother William White. Dick traveled the world as a Gear Specialist for Gleason Works in Rochester for 42 years. He also ran successful lawn mowing and firewood delivery businesses. He volunteered whenever someone needed him and had a love of all toys, especially old toys. He is survived by his wife the former Frances Bauer White, a son Christopher (Maureen) White, two daughters, Jenni (John) Leuzzi, and Stephanie Reyes, grandchildren, Alex (Danielle) Keogan, Abbey (Ryan) Hurlburt, Maddie (Nick Truax) Keogan and Sophie Leuzzi, Cassie (Dylan) Hadfield, Reid, Remy and Roman Reyes, and two greatgrandchildren, Oaklee and Knox Hadfield, siblings Shirley Palmer, Harold (Carole) White, Carol Allen, Deborah (Gerald) Buchinger, Robert (Cecil) White-Buchinger, Gerald White and Mary (Richard) Blevins and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday February 12, 2022 from 10-1 at the Dansville Free Methodist Church 23 Franklin St. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville. Mask and Social Distancing protocol will be in effect.
