Obituary of Lorraine M. Schwenzer

She was born in Rochester, NY on July 9, 1921, a daughter of the late Richard and Louise (Kutter) Weissegger. On December 2, 1950, she was married to James R. Schwenzer Sr., who predeceased her on April 10, 1994. She was also predeceased by a brother Robert and his wife Shirley, two brother in-laws, Richard Halloran and Warren Whitcher, and a son in-law Jack Conklin. Lorraine was a communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. She was formerly employed at Bradley Cable TV, and the Dansville Central School cafeteria. She is survived by her children, James (Karen) Schwenzer Jr., Richard (Ann) Schwenzer, Mary Lou Conklin and Ann (George Sleight) MacDougall all of Dansville, two sisters, Carol Halloran and Dolores Whitcher and a brother Donald (Pat) Weissegger all of Rochester, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church in Dansville on Friday at 11:00am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Dansville. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home 271 St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Livingston County CFNR, Lilac Ave., 11 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris NY 14510.
