Dansville- David Guy Mauro, age 62 passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon October 1st, 2023, surrounded by his family at Noyes Memorial Hospital. He was born in Dansville NY, on August 24, 1961, a son of the late Donald and Dorothea (West) Mauro. He was also predeceased by his sister, Diane Haywood, sister in-law Kerrin Ebert, brother's in-law Eric Holbrook, and Gerald Fronk, father in-law Robert Fronk. On April 28, 1984, he was married to the former Cheri Fronk who survives. Dave was a welder, starting his career at the former Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Dansville, and ending at CAMI in Avoca. He loved to Hunt, fish, and shoot Skeet. He enjoyed watching the history channel and spending time with his granddaughters. Surviving in addition to his devoted wife of 39 years Cherri, their daughter Valerie (Christopher) Lynn, granddaughters, Nova and Baylee Lynn, sisters, Dee Dee Briggs, Debbie Holbrook, Denise Mauro, a brother, Dennis (Tracy) Mauro, mother in-law Evelyn Fronk, sister in-law, Cathy (Bob) Lafollette, brother's in-law Keith Haywood, Kevin (Colleen) Fronk, his dog, Emma, and several nieces and nephews. A Remembrance gathering with family friends and Full Military Honors will be held on Saturday October 14th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Dansville Rod and Gun Club. Arrangements by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
