Obituary of Shirley Ann Wildrick

Dansville- Shirley Ann Wildrick, 82, passed away on September 28th, 2019, at the Livingston County CNFR following a long illness. She now rests in peace with her beloved parents Paul and Winona (Winnie) Battisti, her brother William (Billy) Battisti and son Todd William Wildrick.

 

She was born on January 5th, 1938 in Elmira, NY and received a bachelor’s degree in Teaching at Cortland University as well as a master’s degree from St. Bernards in Theology. On July 1, 1961 she was married to George Wildrick who survives.

 

Shirley dedicated her life to serving Godspending 20 years as the Religious Education Coordinator at St Mary’s Parochial School.  As well, she taught for many years at schools in Elmira, Nunda and Dansville, NY while devoting her life to being a stay at home mother and wife and providing a loving home for her family.  

 

Shirley is survived by her husband of 58 years George Wildrick, her children, Paul and Michelle Wildrick, and her sister, Polly Stapleton, several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

 

Friends may call Friday October 4th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 5th11:00am at St. Mary’s Church of Dansville, 43 Elizabeth St. Dansville Ny. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
