Obituary of Ronald Charles Weidman Jr.

Perkinsville- Ronald Charles Weidman Jr., age 52, passed away on Thursday evening, May 9, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Dansville, NY on August 27, 1966, the son of Ronald and Beaty (West) Weidman, on June 4, 1988, he was married to Evelyn (Henry) Weidman who survives.

Ron was a 1984 Graduate of Dansville Central School District, he was employed at Sweeteners Plus in Livonia, as a Production Manager. He enjoyed spending time outside, whether it be hunting and fishing with his father Ron, or his son Tim. Ron’s other passion in life was being a coach, he coached varsity softball and high school football for Wayland Cohocton Central School District. He was involved in men’s league fastpitch softball, and a member of The Sons of the American Legion Daniel Goho Post #87.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 30 years Evelyn, are their children, Brooke (Richard) Sikes, Tim (Taylor Welytok) Weidman, his sister, Lisah (Patrick) Harris, his grandson Hudson “Hurricane” Sikes,  his loving in-laws Fred and Linda Henry, Larry (Dana) Henry, Sid Henry, Jim Henry, Sonya (Pat) Donovan, several nieces, and nephews, and many friends.

Friends may call on Monday May 13th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, NY. 14437, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday May 14.
