She was such a lovely woman I can hear her voice now! She and Frank were so much of my life in Dansville. Friends of my parents and my teacher and many visits. Her spirit will be missed.

Michael I am truly sorry for your loss. Our family has lost a wonderful woman. Great Aunt Jean was such a giving, caring, and fun part of my life. We spent such great times with Aunt Anne and Grandma Betty in Florida when I got to have all three of them to myself. I was blessed to have that time with them and my children. It does bring me joy knowing that she is with Great Uncle Frank and Jimmy. She is at peace with God and I do hope that picture brings you peace.

My sympathy to Michael and family. I had the pleasure of working with Jean when she was the Director of Social Work at Noyes Hospital, she was compassionate and always wanted to do the best by the patients there. She was creative in her her assistance in helping both patients and families with problem solving. She was asset to the community and helped so many throughout her career! Cheers to Jean for a job well done!

Mike - your mom was my Confirmation sponsor with Callista as my Confirmation name. Our families shared many good memories. I remember going to your house as a child for dinners - it was always a special occasion as we didn’t often go to my parents’ friends’ houses for dinners. Just yours and the Van Rhyns are all I can recall. Your mom made great meals when we came! Our mom went to heaven today and I’m sure your mom was one of many there to greet her. Take care. I will pray for you and you pray for us.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Jean. My husband and I have known Jean and Frank for years. Frank was my husband's teacher at Dansville. I met Jean when I worked for Social Services and she for Dansville Hospital. We had a great relationship after that. Then we kept in touch for many years through Livingston County Children's Protective. She truly cared for people throughout her life. Rip Jean. You are with sweet Frank now.
