Obituary of Robin A. Gibson

Dansville- Robin A. Gibson age 74, passed away Saturday afternoon December 29, 2018, at Highland Hospital in Rochester following a brief illness.

She was born in Washington, DC on December 3, 1944, a daughter of the late Martin and Martha (Stein) Russell. On January 12, 1963, she was married to Howard Gibson who survives.

Robin was a member of the Dansville Presbyterian Church. She worked at Bukowski Pharmacy, Gleason Works, Gunlocke Chair Company, Noyes Memorial Hospital and retired as a secretary for ABB Combustion Engineering in Rochester. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, reading, travelling and spending time with family.

Surviving in addition to her husband Howard, are three daughters; Kathleen (James) Moore, Bonnie (Dan Appel) Gibson, and Karen (Alfred) Vitale; siblings Victoria Neumann, Mary (Michael) Van Durme, Jane (Michael) Murphy and David (Nancy) Hall; four grandchildren, Colby (Scott Johnson) Moore, Dylan (Lainey Chippero) Moore, E. Paige Quinlan and Cole Wolfanger Vitale two great granddaughters, Madelyn Grace Moore and Quinn Irene Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday 3 to 7 at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Dansville Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Online condolences may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
