Obituary of Harold D. Graves

Dansville- Harold D. Graves age 83, passed away early Thursday morning November 8, 2018, at the Hornell Gardens Nursing Home in Hornell where he had been a resident for the past few years.

 

He was born in Prattsburgh NY on July 5, 1935, a son of the late Harry Erwin Roselind (Shurmen) Graves. He was also predeceased by a sister, Helen Graves, and brothers, Lyell and Leonard Graves

 

Harold was retired from Geneseo College maintenance department.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing his guitar, working with balsa wood listening to Johnny Cash and his favorite song was I’ll Walk the Line.

 

He is survived by three sons, George (Debbie) Graves, Tracy (Debbie) Graves and Edward (Monique) Graves, grandchildren, Nicole Johnson, Samantha, Dylan, Andrew, Zackery, Elijah, Ella and Edward Jr. Graves, Erik Bates; step grandchildren Jessica Kane, Mark Judd; two brothers Karl, and Garry Graves.  

 

A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday December 2, from 1 to 6 pm at the Hook and Ladder Clubrooms in Dansville. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville. Online condolences may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com
