I was so fortunate to know Gail even for such a short while. We met almost by accident thanks to our mutual friend, Pastor Joyce Hamilton. We remained connected, especially through my husband, Wayne Michaels, whom Gail thankfully reached out to now and then over the past several years. Gail was a positive force in this world and had an energy that far out-massed her tiny frame. I think it's fair to say that she had "spunk," and it was always a delight to be in her presence. Prayer was her vocation. She led many others through her example in spiritual matters, and served those in need through counseling where she could. It would have been hard to miss her exceptional bond with her mother, and she dearly loved her family. These are a few things I learned about Gail in my short but privileged time knowing her, and being her friend. My husband, Wayne, and I will both greatly miss Gail. My deep condolences to her family, most especially to her mother Florence, beloved brother Gary and sister-in-law Jan.
